Xiaomi opens a new office in Delhi NCR

In a bid to push smartphone sales in the country, Xiaomi opens a new office in Delhi NCR. This is the second office in India after Bengaluru. Xiaomi first entered in India in July 2014 with the launch of Mi3 and in less than 3 years it has changed the whole scenario of the smartphone market in the country. When Mi3 was launched Xiaomi had a very little team with a small office in Bengaluru and the smartphone created a sensation in that segment since then Xiaomi has never looked back. Xiaomi was the first OEM who started flash sale strategy in India and it helped the company to gain social media publicity from tech-savvy young India community. It was also a risk-taking strategy as well because the smartphone was getting out of stock within seconds and many users were getting frustrated by this because they were unable to order their favorite smartphone. Now Xiaomi has launched several smartphones and accessories, it has abandoned the flash sale by open sales and selling lakhs of smartphones per week up from thousands of devices what it was used to sell during initial days.
