Last year, Xiaomi officially released Mi VR Play, and then later released VR headsets, and last month's VR Play 2 and other related products in China.
First the Xiaomi Mi VR team though that these VR glasses is limited to the nature of the game, and there will not be too many users to buy it. But the fact is that they underestimated the enthusiasm of the masses of the VR.

According to the 10th China VR and AR International Summit which was held on 10th May, Xiaomi was recognized as the leader in the industry and won the best leading prize. Xiaomi's General Manager for VR platform Mr.Don Mu Thomas has announced that in less than half a year, Mi VR sales exceeded 100 million units. This news was shared on his Weibo account yesterday i.e, on 11/05/2017 saying that Xiaomi Mi VR platform has sold more than 100 million units in last six months.

In addition, Don Mu Thomas also said that Mi VR platform game users pay rate as high as 13% which shows that the user's are more concerned about the quality of the game, rather than the price. Xiaomi always provided the best quality product and at a reasonable price.
At present, the Mi VR PLAY is available in India for a price of only 999 Rupees and is sold exclusively on Mi online store (Mi.com) and this VR PLAY is suitable for both Android and IPhone users with smartphone screen sizes between from 4.7 to 5.7 inches.
